Fishing Licences

 

 
The current laws require you to have a fishing licence in order to fish. In Catalonia, the body in charge of regulating fishing and issuing the relevant licences is the Department of Agriculture, Livestock Farming, Fisheries and Environment of the Catalan Government. The recreational fishing licence is valid for both fishing in the fresh and sea waters of Catalonia. Also, it allows you to fish in marine waters in the rest of the Spanish coast as well as in international waters. Recreational fishing licences issued in other Spanish autonomous communities also allow you to fish in the Catalonian sea. However, you don’t need to worry about the fishing licence: if you don’t have one, HOUSING & FISHING JB will apply for the licence on your behalf and print it out at the same time in our office on the jetty.
